Case Study

T.MAC – SouthPark

Here’s another one of a kind project, where we were not only fabricating new signage for this T.MAC location but also fabricating an awning for the front entrance.

The entire structure is 16 feet tall, almost 11 feet wide and 6 feet deep. Steel tubing and angle were welded to create the main structure and then faced with pole covers that were CNC router cut and bent on a break press. One side of the awning holds a tempered glass screen wall. The middle is composed of rolled aluminum tubing and has Sunbrella Jockey Red awning fabric stretched over the framing to create a fully covered entry to the restaurant.

The face of the awning consists of a 2 layer LED illuminated logo. The back portion of the logo is a 5 inch deep aluminum can with  1/4″ thick push thru copy, while the top can is 4 inches deep with a translucent T.MAC logo printed on the acrylic face.

The T.Mac letters are also 5 inches deep and LED illuminated, while the tagline is 1/4 inch thick plate aluminum letters mounted to the face.

A nice feature of this awning is the service panel we built into the back of the letter area where all the electrical components can be accessed if service is necessary.
